The etymology of GeoPrac.net is really quite simple...Geo for geotechnical, geological,geohydrology, geoenvironmental and geophysics and Prac for in Practice.

The mission of GeoPrac.net is to:
• Create a community website where engineers, geoscientists, geophysicists and hydrologists from all of our target disciplines come together to collect valuable information and knowledge to apply in their practice.
• Encourage and provide a forum for our members to share their knowledge and expertise with the rest of the GeoPrac.net community.
• Keep our members and visitors informed of news, policy changes, software updates, and new sources of information pertinent to their areas of practice.
