Maptek I-Site Drive

I‑Site Drive allows the continuous acquisition of laser scan data with an I-Site 8820, 8810 or 8200 laser scanner mounted on a moving vehicle. Mining, quarry and civil operations can efficiently survey stockpiles, highwalls and haul roads, cutting survey time by more than 50%.

Stockpiles are easily surveyed for accurate reporting and comparing of daily or weekly volumes. Use I-Site Drive for top of coal survey and capturing mining faces. I-Site laser scanners can be also be used with tripod, vehicle mount and custom bracket accessories for pit and road survey, geological mapping and bulk material volumetrics.

The Inertial Navigation System (INS) in the I-Site Drive vehicle mount is the key to survey efficiency. It allows the data to be acquired continuously and registered to a real world coordinate which saves processing time. Smart registration and visualisation tools reduce time to output survey deliverables.

I-Site Drive is more flexible and cost-effective than dedicated mobile scanning systems. Workflows are tailored to suit common mining deliverables. Collecting measurements from the safety of a vehicle minimises disruption to operations and reduces risk to operators.
