This gigantic sinkhole in Ottawa just took out a 4-lane road
A major section of the Nation's Capital split open Wednesday after a gigantic sinkhole opened up in the city's bustling downtown core.
The sidewalk-to-sidewalk size sinkhole opened up late morning near the corner of Rideau Street and Sussex Drive, not far from several of the city's main attractions.
