European contractors on shortlist for Sydney Harbour tunnel
Two teams have been invited to submit tenders for a project to build twin metro tunnels under Sydney Harbour in Australia.
One of the teams is a joint venture of three contractors with European ownership - Ferrovial, Acciona and BAM - while the other comprises Australian contractors John Holland and CPB (formerly Leighton Contractors) working with Italy’s Ghella.
