Skanska wins Norwegian hydro plant

Skanska has signed a NOK657m (£62m) contract to build a hydropower plant in the municipalities of Sel and Vågå in Norway.

The project for client Eidsiva Vannkraft involves about 12km of tunnelling work, construction of the power station and transformer hall in the mountain and concrete work around the intake, power plant area, outflow and portal.
