CORRELATION OF CYCLIC PRELOADING WITH THE LIQUEFACTION RESISTANCE (2005)
The compactivity of sand due to cyclic loading depends strongly on the soil fabric usually described as ""cyclicpreloading"". The cyclic preloading cannot be measured directly in situ but correlates well with the liquefactionresistance. This paper demonstrates this correlation on the basis of laboratory tests.
