Huge disaster in Mount Olympus (Greece): Sparmos Dam Failure
Thousands of cubic water rushed to the plane of Elassona (Greece), destroying roads and fiels, after the Sparmos Dam failed on Sunday (27/03/2016) afternoon.
The water momentum was so huge that the road pavement was ripped apart.
According to the testimonials of some villagers the type of failure is probably due to overtopping.
