Aecom lands detailed design for Hong Kong airport building
Aecom has won the detailed design contract for a new passenger building at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
The building is part of the HK$141.5bn (£14.7bn) project to develop a three-runway system (3RS) at the airport.
The passenger building will have a floor area of 280,000m2 and will be design as one of the world’s greenest airports. Its features will include natural light indoors and a landscaped courtyard at the centre of the building.
