Coolshield High Temperature Geomembranes

Coolshield® polyvinylidene flouride (PVDF) membranes are a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer, generally used in applications requiring the highest purity, strength and resistance to solvents, acids and high temperatures. This unique PVDF formulation is a fluorinated, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer obtained by radical polymerization of vinylidene flouride, making Coolshield among the most chemically inert of all polymers.

Coolshield is available in a variety of sizes and colors, with or without an encapsulated edge. Coolshield can also be extruded onto various fabric and yarn types, in order to customize a unique membrane to meet the requirements of specific applications. Nilex offers geomembrane installation, design assistance, fabrication and construction services for containment applications.
