VJ Tech has developed a wide range of products for undertaking different Triaxial tests and this example illustrates the latest setup for conducting an Automatic Triaxial test on a sample in a Triaxial Cell. The Advanced Triscan is a stepper motor controlled digital 50 kN machine with inbuilt datalogging and is ideally suited to laboratory Automated Triaxial testing. The two Automatic Pressure Controllers provide pressure and volume control and accurate measurement. The 75mm Triaxial Cell is set up for a 70mm sample and the relevant sample preparation tools are available as are the required load, displacement and pore water pressure transducers. The mobile purpose built support stands accomodate all the required instruments and equipment and a Pressure Panel can be attached if required. The Clisp Studio software can undertake one test automatically and simultaneously control up to three other sample saturations and consolidations if required and conforms to both BS1377 and AS1289
