Rotary or DTH drilling up to 10 5/8" (270 mm) - Multi-pass. The Atlas Copco DML is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi-pass rotary drilling rig specifically designed for production blasthole drilling to depths of 175 ft (53.3 m) with a 30 ft pipe change and 205 ft (62.5 m) with the optional 35 ft (10.7 m) pipe change. Various carousel capacities are available for both the standard 30 ft (9.15 m) and the optional 35 ft (10.7 m) tower. Feed pressure generates a weight on bit force of up to 60,000 lbf (267 kN). There is also an optional angle drilling package that allows the tower to be positioned up to 30 degrees from the vertical position.
