IMPACT OF MINING SECTOR INVESTMENT IN GHANA: A STUDY OF THE TARKWA MINING REGION (2001)
The principal objective of this work is to assess the socio-economic and environmental effects of the mining sector reforms implemented under the structural adjustment programme, with particular reference to affected mining communities in the Tarkwa mining area.
