Firstly, the report will discuss landslide susceptibility mapping methodologies including geomorphological mapping, physically-based models, heuristic and statistical approaches, review methodological comparison studies, terrain  division approaches,  temporal variability, and validation techniques.      Secondly, it will summarise the Irish landslide susceptibility mapping brief and the proposed landslide inventory mapping methodology. Lastly, it will  recommend suitable methodologies that can be applied to this study.
