The Software Q allows the user to create discharge rating curves, velocity distribution segments, tabulate specific site records. SOFTWARE Q is a program for the acquisition, evaluation and management of discharge measurement.
The flow (Q) is established according to the normal hydrometric practise of integrating the velocity distribution v over the water depth h and subsequently over the width b of the measurement cross-section.
Navigation within the Windows platform, viewing graphs & tables, saving to spreadsheets is greatly improved.
One point, two point, multi point & intergrated gauging methods are catered for.
See RECON hand held PDA which operates a field version of Q. Measured values can be entered direct or on-line.
