The Automatic Compactor is made of a rugged construction to withstand work. It provides a consistent and even degree of compaction. The Compactor comprises of a compaction pedestal, automatic control system, secure base of 300 mm square x 25 mm thick steel plate. After setting the required number of blows the Automatic Compactor lifts the 4535 g ±20 g hammer and releases it at the desired height of 457mm ±3mm. The control system comprises of operating light, start / stop switch and a reading counter used to set the desired number of blows.
