GROUND WATER IN FRESHWATER-SALTWATER ENVIRONMENTS OF THE ATLANTIC COAST (2003)
This Circular describes the occurrence and flow of freshwater and saltwater in ground-water systems of the Atlantic coastal zone reviews the causes, modes, and management of saltwater intrusion along the Atlantic coast and illustrates some of the mechanisms of ground-water discharge and contaminant loading to coastal ecosystems.
