EVOLVING ISSUES AND PRACTICES IN MANAGING GROUND-WATER RESOURCESCASE STUDIES ON THE ROLE OF SCIENCE (2003)

The purpose of this report is to describe the role of science in support of emerging issues and practices in the management of ground-water resources. Seven case studies are presented to demonstrate how datacollection networks, ground-water resource assessments, and predictive models are used to assist in aquifer management.
