CRUSTAL BLOCK ROTATIONS AND PLATE COUPLING (2002)

Partitioning of slip at oblique subduction zones is common and frequently results in lithospheric blocks being detached from the overriding plate. A method is described to solve simultaneously for both block rotations on asphere and locking on block-bounding faults using GPS vectors and other geophysical data.
