USING MACHINE CAROUSEL TO REDUCE CLADDING SUPPORT CYCLE AT PK2 VENTILATION SHAFT (2009)
The objective of this paper is to describe the support methodology that was used during the ventilation shaft sinking and the use of the machine carousel to reduce the cladding support cycle. The machine carousel replaces the traditional use of machine kibble in conventional vertical shaft sinking and has been designed specifically for installation of sidewall support at the shaft bottom during the sinking process
