GEOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF THE BASE OF THE MT. AMIATA VOLCANIC COMPLEX (TUSCANY, ITALY) (2010)
Over the past several years, the Mt. Amiata volcanogeothermal area has drawn the attention of the Italian scientific community for an environmental impact assessment concerning any interactions between the geothermal exploitation and the fresh water resources hosted in the volcanic rocks. In this view, an update of the geometry of the volcanic rock substratum and its
interpretation was attempted.
