OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF COMPOSITE SOIL-NAILING IN LOESS EXCAVATION (2009)
The loess excavation has its unique characteristics compared with the others due to its structural property and collapsibility. In order to acquire the work mechanism and design methods of composite soil-nailing in loess excavation, a reasonable finite element analysis model is selected. The optimization design methods are introduced based on the results of finite element analysis conducted to determine the regularity of deformation, the safety factor and the endogen force of the structure along with the change of design variable. Finally, the optimization design methods are validated contrasted with the data measured in an actual project.
