GROUND IMPROVEMENT RESULTING FROM INSTALLATION OF DRILLED DISPLACEMENT PILES (2007)
This paper examines the conditions prior to and following the installation of drilled displacement piles at sandy sites using the cone penetration test. The data support that the installation of drilled displacement piles results in a substantial increase in tip resistance.
