Whitley County lost one of their own Thursday, a man who died earning his living to take care of those he cared most about.

Kentucky officials are saying that Partin began his shift about 5pm on Wednesday evening. He was performing maintenance work on an Auger when a section of highwall, about 15 feet high, fell on him, causing his death.
