World’s first underwater hotel set for Dubai
The Floating Venice, the world’s first underwater luxury vessel resort, will bring a Venetian experience to the Middle East when it opens in Dubai in 2020.
Developed by Kleindienst Group, the US$680 million floating resort will be located in The World Islands, 4km offshore from Dubai. It will feature 414 cabins spread across four levels, one of which is underwater and will boast views of the coral reefs below.
Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2018 with completion set for the fourth quarter of 2020.
