Earth Science Week: 10 – 18 October 2015
This year, we’ve been celebrating the 200th anniversary of William Smith’s amazing geological map of England & Wales – the first nationwide geological map. 2015 is also the first of our themed years – the Year of Mud – highlighting mud’s role in our understanding of the history of our planet.
With this in mind, the theme for 2015’s Earth Science Week is ‘Geological Time.’
