Hochtief picked for Frankfurt office tower

Hochtief Building has been appointed to build the Marienturm, a high-rise office block in downtown Frankfurt.

The contract is with the Perella Weinberg Real Estate Fund II, which is working with project developer Pecan Development on the 155m-tall tower. The building will have 38 above-ground floors and three more below ground level, giving a gross floor area of some 70,000m2. The levels up to the fifth floor are expected to house a lunch restaurant, a coffee bar, a gym, a child day care centre and conference areas.
