Study contract awarded for proposed Blue Nile dam

Technical delegates from Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia have signed an agreement for impact studies to be carried out into the proposed Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

The studies into the planned dam on Ethiopia’s Blue Nile River will be carried out by French consultancy firms BRL and Artelia.
