Tornado lashes Italian coast as storms kill two

Two people were killed as areas of Italy were struck by appalling weather.

An Indian man died when a tornado lashed Ladispoli on the coast north of Rome. Another man died when a tree fell on his car and many others were injured across central Italy.

In Florence, the River Arno rose to dangerously high levels near the Uffizi gallery.
