Preparatory work has begun on the second Sydney Harbour rail crossing intended to ease traffic congestion on the streets. Premier, Mike Baird said geotechnical drilling would occur up to 70 metres below Sydney Harbour in the coming weeks to help determine the best location for the new Sydney Rapid Transit railway tunnels.
