BAM JV picked for Panama jetty
A joint venture of BAM International and marine construction company Iconsa has won a subcontract for the design and construction of an LNG import jetty in Panama.
he contract at the Costa Norte LNG Terminal also includes an intake/outfall structure. South Korea’s Posco E&C is the main contractor to deliver the terminal for US-based power company AES Corporation.
The contract value for the BAM Iconsa joint venture is around US$39m (£31m). Work on site will begin in the first quarter of 2017 for completion in April 2018.
