Agreement signed for Malaysia-Singapore high-speed rail

Malaysia and Singapore have signed an agreement that paves the way for tendering to begin next year for an international high-speed railway.

The 350km-long The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) rail line will have eight stations and will include a bridge across the Straits of Johor. It will cut the travel time between the two cities to just 90 minutes.
