Hong Kong's Highway Department is inviting bids for an 83-month road project that includes tunnelling, flyover upgrades, a noise enclousure and demolition work.

Work on the Central Kowloon Route - Yau Ma Tei East project includes construction of a 390m-long tunnel between Yau Cheung Road and Shanghai Street, upgrades to part of Gascoigne Road Flyover and installation of 510m of noise barrier as well as a 500m noise barrier. The project also includes building demolition and construction work and other tasks such as drainage and landscaping.

Arup-Mott MacDonald Joint Venture is consultant for the scheme.
