ABRASIVE BLASTING OPERATIONS (1976)
The United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is responsible for conducting research and developing educational and training materials in the field of occupational safety and health as required by the Williams-Steiger Occupatlonal Safety and Health Act of 1970. Abrasive blasting is one of the occupational activities covered by the Act, which NIOSH has been studying.
