This paper aims to summarize all the main criteria to carry out the design and supervision of in situ concrete lining. It is shown what are the main points to make it easier the supervision. Once excavation, support and waterproofing phases are finished, a concrete lining shall be placed. This lining is not required for structural reasons but is important to place in the long run. This paper shall comprise the design criteria and aspects about placing concrete in situ lining and its equipment in the conventional tunneling
