Carillion lands defence contract in Cyprus
The UK’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has awarded Carillion a £90m contract to design and build a communications centre in Cyprus.
The new single-story building will be approximately 10,000m2 in area and its environment will be temperature- and humidity-controlled.
Carillion chief executive Richard Howson said: "We are delighted to have been selected by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to design and build this project and we look forward to building on the strong relationship we have with the DIO as we work closely together to deliver this important new facility".
