Gatwick has chosen three consultants for a key planning framework covering the design and management of existing infrastructure as part of a £2.5bn upgrade.

Arup, Atkins and Jacobs have all secured places on the airport’s planning and services framework, which will cover the next five years.

The three firms will be required to assist the airport with capacity assessments and the use of existing infrastructure to accommodate future passenger growth.

Gatwick is halfway through a £2.5bn transformation programme to improve passenger experience and boost its number of airline partners and cargo-handling facilities.
