Stunning timelapse and drone footage reveals extensive repairs to Oroville Dam after massive spillway failure earlier this year

Stunning timelapse and drone videos have emerged showing the extensive repairs to the Oroville Dam after a catastrophic spillway failure earlier this year.

Repairs to the Butte County, California dam's main spillway were completed by the Wednesday deadline, the California Department of Water Resources said.

The deadline was significant, in order to ensure the spillway would be in service before the upcoming rainy season.
