Second landslide hits Beaumaris as Storm Frank damage takes its toll
The main road into a popular tourist town could remain shut for days after being hit by two landslides just 24 hours apart.
Monday night saw the A545 closed to traffic after trees slid down the embankment near Gallow’s Point, on the approach into Beaumaris.
The road had yet to reopen when Storm Frank made its presence felt on Tuesday night, resulting in more trees and earth coming crashing on to the road.
